Timeless Thoughts: Video Game Voyages

Timeless Thoughts

The past few days have been difficult for me. Actually, this entire week at work tested my patience, and I had a hard time keeping my temper in check. There were only two things that made this week bearable for me. The first thing — I treated myself to a new techno gadget. The second thing is knowing that my Hakodate trip is just around the corner. In my free time, I planned and budgeted for my trip. My mind is filled with nothing but Hakodate, and this led me to reminiscence why I picked Hakodate in the first place. My reasons are perfect for this month’s Timeless Thoughts entry. Georgie and I co-host this monthly link-up, and I am hosting again for this month. If you would like to participate, you’re more than welcome to join our link-up by submitting your entry with the link-up widget located at the end of this entry! This link-up is opened for two weeks, and your entry can be about anything you find unforgettable from your past or present! It can be an object, an event, a person — anything goes — and you can have more than one thing you miss or find unforgettable.

This is the first TC’s Treasures post of 2017! It’s already the second week of the new year, and I’ve been keeping myself busy with my hobbies. I also fell ill last week to the point I had to call out sick for two and a half days. I came down with a super bad cold, and it made me super woozy. Amidst my sickness, I kept up with my hobbies, and this post will be covering what I’ve been enjoying in terms of animes and video games.

Happy November! One more month and 2016 is over. Where has all the time gone? In the meantime, I’ve started my mini-autumn vacation. I’ll be off from work this upcoming week, and I’m also travelling out of town to Sokcho! Before I start packing for my mini-trip and spend time meeting friends, I’m here for another round of Timeless Thoughts, a monthly blog link-up run by Georgie and me. With Raisa and Eirene no longer hosting My Favourite Things, I decided to continue with my own monthly favourites post. Starting this month, this new column will be called TC’s Treasures because I’m fond of alliterations, haha! Like My Favourite Things, I’ll be showcasing things I’ve been loving lately. This month’s a hodgepodge. My favourites run from apps to beauty product to video game to food. See my favourites for this month and I’ll be back next month for more TC’s Treasures!

Symphonic Selections: Final Fantasy VII ~ Ahead on Our Way

Symphonic Selections

I’m here with a new Symphonic Selections post. I almost went for another sad song this month, but I opted to choose a song that would help me relax. Several days ago, I found myself humming a song from Final Fantasy VII. It just popped in my head, and it’d been stuck ever since. I’m just glad it’s a song I enjoy and don’t mind hearing it over and over again. I can definitely listen to this and relax after a long day of work and such. Huzzah for relaxing video game tunes :D
