My Favourite Things is a precursor to TC’s Treasures. Starting in November 2016, all My Favourite Things posts will be known as TC’s Treasures.
It’s the first Tuesday of a new month! It’s time to do Raisa and Eirene’s wonderful link-up, My Favourite Things. My post for this month is kind of random since I jumped around with my interests this month. Enjoy my favourites for October!
The Heroes of Olympus Series
I finally got around to reading The Heroes of Olympus books by Rick Riordan. I read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series in August 2013, so I was overdue to read its sequel. The sequel took about a week and a half to complete. I enjoyed it, and I loved how Riordan expanded its universe. The new characters were awesome. I’m forever Team Leo, Nico, Reyna, and Frank. Bob and Damasen also won me over. The way Riordan wove in the Roman mythology with the Greek worked beautifully.
All in all, it was a solid series, but not as amazing as its prequel. However, it was good enough to where I devoured the books and became hooked on its fanfics! Thanks to this series, I’m now re-reading the first series!
Amnesia: Memories is an otome game for the PC and PlayStation Vita. Raisa started playing it and she influenced me to get the game. I played through one good route so far — Shin’s route — and I am having a blast with all the bishounens, haha! I can’t wait to play the other routes and get all the trophies!
Hot Dried Pork
Raisa picked these awesome pork jerky for me when she went to Las Vegas, and I finally got them. I love these jerky so much! I wish I could order these online, but they are only available at their physical store :( If you’re ever in Las Vegas, check out Vegas 808 at the California Hotel!
Ardium 2016 Stash
Ardium, my favourite Korean stationery brand, released their new planners and calendars. I ordered a bunch of their products for myself and a couple of friends from Gmarket. I absolutely adore Ardium products!
The Return of the Sucker Fish
Back in April, I featured the huge sucker fish at my workplace. Well, this time I was able to see the little sucker fish, and I happened to see the two of them sucking away at the same time, and I just had to take a photo of them. It’s like watching the baby fish copying the daddy/mummy fish. This is my new favourite thing to do at work when I need a break — watching these two sucker fishes in action!
