For September, I’m guest hosting Raisa and Eirene’s wonderful link-up, My Favourite Things. This link-up is opened for the next two weeks, and anyone can participate and write about anything you love! Hope to see some fabulous entries!

My post this month sort of has a “beauty theme”. I’m here to gush about the three products I’ve been using the past month and loving a lot. I usually don’t go into beauty or bath products, but there really weren’t a lot of favourites I encountered in August :( So I’m hoping I’ll have more favourites to talk about next month! Enjoy!

L’Oreal EverStrong Shampoo

L'Oreal EverStrong

L’Oreal EverStrong Shampoo is my new favourite thing ever. I’m generally a Pantene girl, but I wanted to try something new, something sulfate-free, and something to strengthen my hair. I gave this a try, and I’m glad! I find myself really loving the scent, too. The scent of rosemary and juniper relaxes me greatly. I admit, it wasn’t a scent I liked at first, but it really grew on me. I do hope L’Oreal doesn’t discontinue this shampoo. If they do, it will be a sad day for me.

Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser

Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser

This facial cleanser is working out well for me. It matches my skin type, and it hasn’t been drying it out. Plus, the smell is great, haha. I also do like that it helps prevents zits from taking over my face, so I’m thankful for that, too! I find Aveeno to be pricey, but I’m willing to pay extra for a good facial cleanser!

Bath & Body Works’ Pure Paradise Hand Sanitiser

Pure Paradise

I love this scent so, so much. I’m not a big Bath & Body Works fan, but this scent has won me over. I love using this as a hand sanitiser. It just smells great! Too bad I have to order these online as the PX here doesn’t have this scent :( Oh well. I’ll just have to bulk order this product. It’s also a shame this scent doesn’t come as a hand soap! If it were a hand soap, I’d order that and the hand sanitisers in a heartbeat!

  1. That cleanser looks good. I’ve been on the look out for a new brand, so I might consider trying that one. On the other hand, I steer clear of anything that has micro beads in it. Blegh.

    • Yeah, I decided to stop using products with microbead, hence why I tried out this foaming cleanser, and I’m glad I did! :D If you do try out Aveeno, do let me know what you think!

  2. I’ve been using L’Oreal’s shampoo/conditioner line for blondes for a while now, and I like that it prevents my hair from turning brassy yellow/orange. Now the only thing I despise dealing with is my pesky root-growth! Hahaha!

    • Ooooh, if I ever dye my hair again, I’ll definitely keep that in mind and not use any other shampoos but L’Oreal’s XD

  3. L’Oreal products are SO good. I wonder if they sell this line in my country – I’ll have to have a look because it looks really good. I’ve been searching for a good sulphate-free shampoo, because my hair is just ugh.

Aveeno is my go to brand! I absolutely adore it. I’m in love with their moisturiser, as it’s great for eczema prone skin which is what I have. I didn’t know they had a foaming cleanser, so will definitely need to keep an eye out for that.

Can’t go wrong with some good hand sani!

    • I hope you can find them in UK! Let me know if you do and how you like them if they are in the UK! ^^

I love Aveeno, but moisturisers and I are NOT friends. Those causes me to breakout even if the products are oil-free :( I hope you can find the facial cleanser, too!

  4. L’oreal products are so goood ;P I wish I had money always to buy them for my skin and whatnot. I did get some awesome sunscreen from them and it was the bomb.

    • I don’t ever recall seeing a sunscreen from L’Oreal! I’ll have to see if I can find them here! :D

  5. That’s great that you found some products that you really like and work so well. :D

  6. I love the Everstrong Shampoo/Conditioner range! I haven’t bought them in ages but for sulfate free shampoo they are one of the best I’ve tried. I’m currently using Seven Wonders shampoo which is also great!

Also YAY for hosting the linkup :)

    • Ooooh! I’m glad one of my blogger buddies have tried the EverStrong product! They are amazing! I’ve never heard of Seven Wonders! I’ll have to see if my stores here sell those :D

  7. aigoo~ I’ve seen this post but never got a chance to read it XD I LOVE all the things that you listed, and the one that caught my attention is the hand sanitizer XD because the bottle is cute! I might start searching for it here ahahha~ I am not of a beauty product user, as I will use whatever sets that my mom bought me, since my skin is quite sensitive. But then, the l’oreal ones are pretty famouse and I’ve seen many of my friends use it tho~

    • I’m not big on beauty products, but the few things I do use, I try and use only the ones I like! I agree that the bottle for the hand sanitisers is cute! It’s way cuter than the previous design :D

  8. Ooh, that L’Oreal shampoo looks nice. Even better that it’s sulfate free and has a nice scent! I might check that one out.

I like a lot of scents at Bath & Body Works, but I don’t go to that store very much. I tend to get their soaps and lotions though. That’s too bad that the hand sanitizer is only available online for you. Ordering in bulk is handy at least!

    • If you do check the shampoo out, do let me know what you think! ^^

      I don’t generally use Bath & Body Works products, but what I do use are like their hand soap and sanitisers. I like them a lot! But I don’t really use much else XD;

  9. I’m glad Aveeno is working out for you! :D It breaks me out a lot. I have super sensitive skin and Aveeno’s actually recommended for that, but it just didn’t work for me. :(

Thanks you again for hosting this month!

    • That sucks that Aveeno doesn’t work for you! :( But luckily there are other brands out there. Which ones do you use? XD

  10. I love Aveeno! I’m using their Positively Radiant moisturizer and it’s great. I have a problem with acne as well, so it’s always great to find a cleanser that helps prevent more from appearing on your face.
