A couple of weeks ago, I went to a Scentsy party hosted by my friends. One of them brought in this cocktail sausage dish that used ketchup and grape jelly. The ingredients sounded weird, but it’s a combination that just worked. So I decided to try it and this was the end result. The thing is though, I used barbecue sauce (Jack Daniel’s EZ Marinader mesquite sauce) and strawberry jam because I didn’t have any grape jelly. It turned out good, still! Such a simple dish and great for parties.
1 package of cocktail sausages
1 cup of barbecue sauce or ketchup
1 cup of grape jelly or strawberry jam
1. Mix the sauce or ketchup with the jelly or jam in a pot on medium heat until it simmers.
2. Add the sausages to the sauce and let it cook for about 5-10 minutes.
3. Serve warm and enjoy!
