Sweet Ginger Soba

This post is old, so what you see here may not reflect my current opinion and mindset, certain information may be outdated, and links may be broken.

Through Pinterest, I discovered this recipe and decided to try it. I ended up modifying the recipe a bit (mostly by choosing to omit ingredients that required chopping, haha!), and this is what I ended up with. Next time I will add scallions/green onions to it and see how it tastes, but for now, I like this modification! Really easy and super fast to make!

Sweet Ginger Soba
1 package of soba noodles (I used Orchids Chuka Soba 6oz)

1-2 tablespoon of minced ginger or ground ginger
1-2 tablespoon of minced garlic
2-3 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 tablespoon of rice vinegar
2 tablespoon of honey

1-2 teaspoon of sesame seeds
1 teaspoon of pepper

1. Cook the soba according to directions on the package. Rinse in cold water if you want cold noodles.
2. In a bowl, combine the sauce ingredients and mix well.
3. Add the cooked soba to the sauce and stir until noodles are evenly coated.
4. Add the condiments, mix, and enjoy!
