I made red velvet cake for my maternal grandmother. With my mum’s help (since I have awful fine motor skills), we put a layer of cream cheese icing on the top. Then I used red sprinkle to cover up the icing — to give it some colour since I didn’t have any food colouring to give the icing other colour.
Then it was time to use the decorating bag, a completely new territory for me! I had a slightly difficult time trying to figure out the coupler’s purpose. Once I figured everything out, I experimented with the decorating bag and figured out how to squeeze the border, the flowers, and my grandmother’s name. It was not easy. I drove my mum crazy making this tonight, haha! Oh, well. It’s done.
