Nippon Vacation Booked!

This post is old, so what you see here may not reflect my current opinion and mindset, certain information may be outdated, and links may be broken.

I’ve booked my trip to Tokyo earlier today through Travelocity. Excitement and panic overtook me after I did it due to stupid paranoia about middle names and whatnot. Don’t ask.

I’ll be leaving Seoul on October 21 and will be gone until October 27. Am going to fly Delta and am going to stay at Sunroute Akasaka. I’ve opted to take the cheaper hotel over the hotel I’ve stayed at before . . . luckily, it’s only a block away, behind the Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station.

My poor credit card hates me as it had its first $1000+ USD transaction today. The flight/hotel package with all its taxes and other necessity totalled $1009.42 USD. Good thing I had the foresight to raise my credit limit last year!

I feel like I’ve rushed through this and acted spontaneously, but when I look at it realistically, I didn’t. This was a trip I’d meant to go LAST YEAR. I’d already had my choices in my head, so I just frantically went nuts trying to put it all together to work . . .

All right, people. Those in Japan who wants to meet up? TIME TO PLAN! :D Contact me, people!

  1. Yay! :D

  2. Oh gosh, I wish I could go there to meet you. Haha. You’d better come to Australia eventually. ;)

I hope you have a good time though! I am jealous because since studying Japanese in high school, I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. The culture and food is amazing.

    • I wish you could come to Japan, too! It’d be so much fun! And I’ll get my arse down to Australia one day . . . :D

Tokyo is amazing and so upbeat. It’s a lot similar to Seoul, but it feels more exotic. I can’t wait until I’m there again!

  3. I always wanted to go to Japan! Lucky YOU! Can I tag along? xD

    Have fun in Tokyo Tara-chan.

  4. That’s so exciting! I know from recent experience that buying tickets makes everything seem so much closer and real!

    • Yes, booking everything made it seem “final”, and that it will happen. WHOO HOO! I just hope nothing drastic happens to me by October 21 . . . I do not want any obstacles between me and my trip! :D

  5. Aww I wish I was in going too. I hope you have lots of fun on this trip so that you won’t have any regrets.

  6. Have fun in Tokyo! You’re so lucky, I hope you’ll have fun!

I don’t think you rushed it, you have been planning this for a while after all.

Since you live in Seoul, it’s not really that long trip. Hey – people in my country visit Denmark, Sweden, Finland and England on a whim. South Korea to Japan is nothing xD

    • Yeah, you’re right. I just wished it was cheaper for a trip of this size! . . . Oh, well! I’m still happy I’m going!

  7. so. very. jealous.

I could almost hate you… I wish I had the money to go too -pout-

    • Awww T____T I’m sorry for making you jealous XD;;;

Seriously, though, save up money and you can go anywhere you want to! That’s all I’m doing. :D

  8. WOoo Japan… have fun Tara!!

  9. Omigosh, take LOTS of pictures.. :) :) :)

  10. That’s so awesome! I’ve always wanted to go japan and get all the kawaii stuff =X Have fun and be safe.
