Long “Nap”

Remind me never to take a nap when I’m really exhausted because I just went and screwed up my sleeping schedule.

Yesterday, I decided to take a nap at 4:30pm to 6:00pm. I did hear my alarm clock go off (aka Sponty the cellphone) and decided to just snooze for a few more minutes. That few minutes turned into a total of 11 hours of sleep. X_X;; The next time I woke up, it was probably midnight. I went back to sleep and finally woke up at 3:30am today.

Right. That was definitely a long nap.

Now I just hope I can stay awake for the sleepover party at Sarah’s tonight… o_O

    That’s actually kind of funny. At least you know you’re well-rested now! And that’s definitely one of the reasons I’d don’t allow myself to nap; you never know when you’re going to wake up.

  2. That’s what always happens to me too.

    And what’s really bad is if you get into the habit of turning off the alarm clock. You turn it off, go back to sleep, and you forget you turned it off and assumed that the alarm clock never rang. Until you realize that the only possibility is if you turned it off in your “sleep.” ;)

    Woot sleepover! I find that unless the whole group decides to sleep, it’s difficult to sleep when there are other things to do and other people are around.

    That IS a long nap! I don’t like it when it happens to me too, but I hope you felt a little bit refreshed by it? Maybe you’re more tired than you thought.

  4. I always take naps, but then again, I never have nightly events to consider before I languish on a couch..
